Mantras

Life can get hectic, which is why I take tiny breaks throughout the day to recharge and reset my mind. I have many different mantras that I say to myself depending on the situation and it seems simple, but it really makes a difference. It helps me focus on the task at hand and helps me achieve my goals for the day. It will help calm me down when things become stressful and reminds me that I can tackle all challenges presented to me. Here are a few examples that I use.

  1. I am enough.
  2. I am strong.
  3. I am capable.
  4. You got this!
  5. Everything will work itself out.
  6. I am grateful for today.
  7. Count to ten and breathe.
  8. It is what it is…
  9. It doesn’t need to be “perfect.”
  10. I am in control.

I have so many more and I find that the smaller the statement, the better it is for me because I incorporate it with deep breathing and as I exhale, I’ll say one of these phrases. The best personal mantra is one that speaks to you and helps you stay focused, motivated, and positive. It should be something that you can easily remember and repeat to yourself, especially during challenging times. I’d love to hear your go to mantra!

  1. “It is what it is,” I learned from you & I say it many times per day! It’s great! It reminds me, “I can’t change it right now, so don’t worry about it right now!”
