What a whirlwind this past week has been! I did it! I published a children’s book! If anyone had asked me a year ago if this would have been possible, I would have said, “No.” But life has a way of presenting opportunities and it’s up to us to take them.
I have received so many wonderful messages of praise and congratulations and I am overwhelmed by the beautiful reviews that I have received. Thank you all for your words of encouragement. It means a great deal to me and motivates me as I continue to write.
Marisela’s story has just begun. As I mentioned last week, Marisela Discovers Music is the first of 5 books in the Marisela Music Series. I have already begun to work on book 2, Marisela Goes To College. The outline is complete, and the story has begun.
The remaining books in the series will be, Marisela Becomes a Teacher, Marisela Opens a Music Studio, and Marisela Has a Family of Her Own. I am so excited to share these stories with you. I will also be releasing a song book of music I have written through the years along with the stories behind them.
